Overview
Teaching God’s Way is designed to assist Sunday school teachers, children's workers, and church leaders in their ministry to the younger generation. During the three (or four) day seminar, participants learn about and are encouraged in their call, the importance of their role in discipling the next generation, the importance of children and the place they hold in the Father's heart.
We called this seminar Teaching God’s Way because of the double meaning of that name. Together we want to teach the children entrusted to us the ways of God and how children should follow God and live righteously. Also we want to learn from God's word and from God Himself what His way of teaching and discipling is.
Content
The program is dynamic and diversified. It includes:
- Biblical examples
- Practical tips
- Academic theories
- Discussions
- Crafts
- Games
- Creation of visual aids.
Participants
The optimal number of participants is 30-50. This allows for personal attention and assurance that everyone is getting into the material. If you have fewer or more participants, we are willing to have a discussion.
Who is this it for?
The workshop is non-denominational, so you are free to invite attendants from different churches, schools, and organizations in your area.
Duration
In most cases, Teaching God’s Way is run over three days, with a 7-hour program for each day, which includes two breaks for tea and lunch. We start each day at 9am and conclude at 4pm.
Location
The ideal location for the workshop is a hall (such as a church or school auditorium) situated in a convenient place. The venue needs plenty of light with adequate space for outside activities nearby.
